Skin Bumps - What Can Cause Them?

The simple fact of shaving can create skin bumps on the face of some people. The facial hair that is cut very close to the skin or under the skin depending on the razor used, the hair growing back will caused some bumps to appear on the skin. That is why some people never shave too close to the skin for fear of having facial skin bumps. Other skin bumps or lumps may be the results of infections. The cause of skin bumps can vary greatly. They may also have different size and be hard or soft, painful or tender when you touch them. Since skin bumps may be caused by acne, boils, cyst, skin tags, insect sting allergies and many more other skin problems, it is best to go to the bottom and find the real cause in other to find a quick solution. Skin bumps caused by acne or insect sting allergies will be pretty obvious to most people. Other skin bumps are more difficult to diagnose and even your doctor may have a hard time telling you the real cause of the problem. In that case, get a second or a third opinion before you start treating the problem.
