Be patient when you follow a wart treatment!

If you have warts on your skin, you know that they are not attractive and can attract attention, or more likely people can be looking at them in a way that is not too flattering. Warts are outgrowth of skin cells that is likely the results of the a virus called, human papilloma virus. There are many strains of that virus causing the disease, and they come in many shapes and color and can form on almost any part of the body. There are treatment for warts and these treatment are many, varying from what you can do at home to what the doctors and experts can do for you if home treatments are not successful.

As we said earlier, there are many kind of treatments that you can try on your warts, depending on the location. For the common warts that develops on the hand and nails, you can try rubbing crushed garlic on them for a few weeks until they are completed gone. Another methods that you can try is to apply a bit of lime juice on a piece of band-aid then place on the warts overnight. Remove the band-aid in the morning when you wake up. That kind of treatment is usually very fast and can show good results in as little as a week or so.

Patience is a virtue, if you are patient and have time on your hands, you can try and soak your warts in an apple cider solution for about fifteen to twenty minutes, twice a day. That should take care of the warts after five to six weeks. Some people will see good results with the homemade remedies while others may see results only after consultations with their doctor. Even with good initial results, warts may return later in some cases and the methods used to cure them, such as burning and freezing may leave some scars, which is definitely a concern. Whichever methods of wart treatments you want to go with, make sure that it will remove the warts from the roots so that there is no possibility of re-occurrence. It is always better to be patient in removing warts, then to do it quickly with the possibility of scarring and re-occurrence.
