It is basically the same effect as getting some salicylic acid from the drugstore to remove the warts. If you have time on your hand, you can also try to get rid of them with apple cider. Submerge the warts into a solution of apple cider for about twenty minutes before removing them. Do that twice a day until they are all gone.

Other ways to get rid of warts are using banana peel on them overnight then remove it in the morning when you wake up. Do this until the warts are completely gone. You can also try and rub crushed garlic onto them two to three
times a day. It may take a little while for the garlic to do its job. For a quicker way to remove your warts, you may apply a few drops of lime juice in a band-aid and place if on the wart. Leave it overnight then remove it in the morning. If you do this every night, that can get rid of your warts within a week more or less.

If none of the methods above seem to work for you, you may have to pay your doctor a visit and he will start by giving you a prescription that most likely will involve burning the wart. With solutions that involve burning, there is always a risk of scarring. How to get rid of warts is to try the different method that you can do at home before you look for outside help. Remember that warts are contagious and may spread to other parts of your body, so try and touch them as less as possible.
